Julia Jacoby - OF

Senior fourth year Varsity player. Great outfielder with nine years of softball experience. Six letter-winner at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego. Three in Softball and three  in Tennis. Joined the Varsity team in her freshman year and led the Sundevils to the 2001 Palomar League championship. 2003 All Avocado League 2nd Team.  Julia is a two time ASA-USA Junior Olympic Nationals Champion both in the 12u and 14u age bracket.  Also competed in Tennis and was named the Sundevils' most improved player of the Varsity Tennis Team in 2002.  Jacoby will attend  Fairfield University and play softball on a scholarship.

Vanessa Soto - 2B/3B

Senior fourth year Varsity player- Team Captain. 2002-2003 Tri-Captain.  Starter third baseman with nine years of softball experience. Three time Softball Letter-winner at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego. Joined the Varsity team in her freshman year and led the Sundevils to the 2001 Palomar League championship. 2002 CIF Palomar League 2nd Team 3B. Hit 3 HR in '02. Listed in 2003-04 as one of the top 25 players to watch in San Diego, North County. 2003 North County Times Player of the week. 2003 Avocado League First Team 3B, 2003 North County Times All Team -Second Team 3B, 2003 UT All Section Second Team 3B, 2003 Mt. Carmel Outstanding "Offensive Player" award and holds the new school record most hits in 2003.  Soto signed a letter-of-intent to play college softball at  Louisiana State University (LSU).

Brittany Osmon - 1B/C

Senior Fourth year Varsity starter. Excellent left handed first baseman. Made Varsity team as starting freshman catcher and led the Sundevils to the Palomar League Championship with solid offense and defense. Brittany is a two time ASA-USA Junior Olympic National Champion both in the 12U and 14U divisions. 2003 Avocado League "Honorable Mention", Osmon is the recipient of the 2003 Coca-Cola Golden Glove Award and in 2003 achieved the Highest Fielding Percentage (.994). Osmon signed a letter-of-intent to play college softball at Florida State University.

Erin Floros - C, 3B

Junior  Third year Varsity starter.  Player with nine years of softball experience. Positional catcher with third base capability. 2002 CIF Palomar League 2nd Team Catcher. Listed in 2003-04 as one of the top 25 players to watch in San Diego, North County. 2003 CIF All-Avocado league  Second Team  and 2003 CIF San Diego Section Division I Second Team. Won the "Will to Win" Mt. Carmel athlete Award.

Valerie Brown - P/ OF

Senior second year Varsity.   Ten year softball player, pitching all ten years. No-Hitter first game as a Freshman; Palomar League Champs 2001. JV defensive Player of the Year; Palomar League Champs 2002. Valerie will be attending Colorado University, at Colorado Springs on an academic scholarship. She has a GPA of 3.98. She is also a four year Cheerleader at MCHS.

Katie Vickers - SS/ 2B

Senior fourth year Varsity-Captain..  Dual positional player at SS and 2B with eight  years of softball experience. Letter-winner at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego. Joined the Varsity team in her freshman year and led the Sundevils to the 2001 Palomar League championship. 2002 CIF Palomar League 2nd Team 2B.  MVP of the JV basketball team, and  a member of the CIF championship basketball team of 2001 and Palomar co-champion 2002.  Listed in 2003-04 as one of the top 25 players to watch in San Diego. Vickers signed a letter-of-intent to play for Georgia.

Senior first year Varsity. With twelve years of Softball experience. Has played every position, but found a home in left field. JV 2002 MVP of the Grossmont.  Tournament. JV 2002 Offensive Player of the Year. JV 2003 Union Tribune Athlete of the Week.

Sophmore  Promoted to Varsity in 2003 from JV. Seven-year softball player. 2003 JV League Champions. Llamas is a 10U Western Regional Champion.

Freshman - First year Varsity player. Seven years softball experience. 10U Western Regional Champion (1999), 10U ASA-USA Junior Olympic National Champion (2000). Also competes in  Varsity Volleyball at MCHS.

Britney Muñoz - 2B/ P/ OF

Junior - First year Varsity player with nine years of softball experience. In addition to playing for championship ranked teams Muñoz enjoys playing second base, pitching and playing the outfield.  Multi sport athlete competes in Varsity tennis. Muñoz doubles team finished second in league play.  Muñoz is a USA team tennis member and recently attended Nationals.

Allison Massingill - C/ OF

Junior - First year Varsity player entering her 11th yr of softball. Starting catcher for MCHS Freshman ‘02 and voted team MVP by players. Played catcher and outfield, and was MVP for the Avocado League Championship JV team ‘03, hitting 0.415 and SL% 0.600. In other MCHS sports, Allison enjoy playing post for the ’03 League Champion JV Basketball team. GPA of 4.08
